House Church
Grow as a Disciple of Jesus
Reach β’ Teach β’ Train β’ Mobilize
House Church exists to make disciples of Jesus.
Our mission is to reach the missing, to teach the family, train the leaders, and to mobilize the disciples. In other words, House Church exists to bring followers of Jesus together on a weekly basis to grow as disciples of Christ so that we can be discipled and disciple others in becoming more like Jesus and building His Kingdom here on earth.
House Church Focuses on Three Components
Sharing Food
Each gathering involves sharing a meal together.
βThey ate together in their homes, happy to share their food with joyful hearts. They praised God and were liked by all the people. Every day the Lord added those who were being saved to the group of believers.
(Acts 2:46-47)
2. Hospitality
βBiblical hospitality, goes beyond our preferences and desire for social interaction; rather, it is a lifestyle that we embrace out of devotion to Jesus and love for people. This kind of hospitality reaches out beyond our Christian friends, and makes our homes available to others as oases of love and acceptance.β
(1 Pet 4:9, Heb. 13:2)
3. Making Disciples
This can look different from week to week, but the overall goal of each gathering is to grow and become more like Jesus together.
βTherefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.β
(Matthew 28:19-20)
